This past month has been eventful and monumental. Two weeks ago I turned thirty years old. I spent the day at my sister Megan's house, where she made me a Birthday Lunch and then later in the evening my dad took me to the ISU symphony. It was a wonderful day, spent with the people I love. Here's to a great year!!
The next day, my kind friends and sister Jenna threw me a baby shower. I scored a lot of diapers and wipes, as well as newborn outfits and basically everything I need for bath time. I am so blessed to be surrounded by amazing women who uplift and serve me and have gotten me through this pregnancy with their friendships. All I needed was a baby and I'd be all set!
The following week was Thanksgiving. Again, my responsibility was rolls, and Megan also hosted dinner at her house. I mustered the last of my energy as an 8 1/2 pregnant woman and was able to contribute to making a few sides. Dinner was delicious and I was thankful that I was able to spend the day with all my loved ones. Taylor had his first "black friday" at Walmart experience, and scored us ANOTHER TV (we now have 3) and ANOTHER Roku for a great price. He stood in line for 3 hours and made a lot of friends with the people he was standing in line with. HAHA. I hope this doesn't become an annual thing because 4 hours away from your family on Thanksgiving doesn't sound appealing to me.
On a last bout of pregnancy energy, I was able to re-organize the master and boys' bedroom in its entirety. Taylor helped move furniture around and freed up some closet space,
